Patios & Pathways
Renowned locally for creating beautiful, well constructed gardens Rosie Landscapes has extensive knowledge and experience of laying patios of all shapes and sizes. We can create a brand new patio for you, simply lift and re-lay your existing one or just replace the grouting; the choice is yours. With new products being constantly introduced into the market, from pre-cast concrete to Porcelain paving slabs, you can be certain that we will create a striking new patio that will enhance your home and impress your neighbours!
Garden patios
Patios are very versatile and can be laid in various shapes, in a wide range of finishes and can incorporate both planting pockets and disguise man-hole covers! Whilst most patios are constructed to extend the indoors outwards, for both entertaining and relaxing on, patios can also be used to enhance special qualities in your garden such as a quiet, sunny corner. Patio accessories such as millstones, planters, herb wheels and water features can also add that finishing touch to your garden.
Samples of paving slabs, along with other materials and products, can be provided on request as we source all of our landscaping materials from local suppliers.
Pathways & trails
No-one likes tip-toeing through wet grass so why not create a permanent pathway within your garden? Various materials can be used to create a pathway ranging from paving slabs, stepping stones through to slate chippings; wood effect Porcelain is also available as a maintenance-free alternative.

Driveways
Your driveway is an investment; not only should it be an attractive welcome to your home it must also be practical for your personal needs. Having gained a wealth of knowledge and experience over recent years Rosie Landscapes has successfully installed a variety of block-paved, gravel and tarmac driveways within a 20 mile radius of Fleet, Hampshire.
Block-paved driveways
Block-paved driveways are a modern and attractive way to complement your home. There is such a wide range of versatile, durable and permeable block paving products on the market you'll be sure to find what you're looking for; samples of blocks can be provided, as can site visits to previous clients, enabling you to see the weathered blocks 'in situ'. Simple Sketched designs can also be provided for design and scale.
Gravel driveways
Gravel driveways can look fantastic creating a much softer, natural look to your property. Gravel comes in various colours and sizes and samples of your chosen stone can be provided prior to commencement. Gravel is a great surface for driveways as, not only is it a cost effective option, it aids drainage and gives you added security as the crunching of stones underfoot enables you to hear that someone is approaching! Rumble strips can also be laid at the foot of the driveway to prevent loose stones spilling out onto the pavement.
To help prevent the movement of gravel on large areas Rosie Landscapes can supply and lay a ground base grid which comprises of interlocking 'cells' which hold the stones in place whilst providing a tough and sturdy surface to drive on. Please enquire for further details.
Tarmac driveways
When nothing but tarmac will do Rosie Landscapes can carry out all the preparation work ready for the tarmac to be laid. We recognise that the laying of tarmac is a specialised job and, therefore, this part of the work would be outsourced to a professional company who we have used on countless occasions.
Rosie Landscapes is fully insured whilst carrying out any work at your property and a copy of our insurance certificate is always available to view.
Please contact us if you have a project in mind, we'd be happy to help.
Walling & Terracing
Rosie Landscapes offers a full hard landscaping service which includes all brickwork, natural stone walls, rendering, the building of retaining walls, terracing, garden walling, raised planters and built-in barbeques. These are just some of the elements that can be successfully incorporated into your garden design.
Garden terracing & retaining walls
Walling and terracing can enhance any landscaping project as they add real height and interest to an otherwise flat garden area. The use of terracing in a back garden creates usable space where there was once none.
Whilst a sloping garden with different levels can be visually interesting, retaining walls are now a popular choice. Retaining walls enable an awkward, sloping area to be 'split' into two or more level areas turning them into flat usable spaces. We have carried out a number of projects within a 20 mile radius of Fleet, Hampshire where sleepers have been used to retain soil to make terracing possible.
Brickwork
When considering using brickwork in a garden, we would always try to match the existing brick as closely as possible to complement the style and architecture of the property itself. We are able to source both reclaimed and specialised bricks, such as half moon or cant bricks, to ensure that the integrity of the project is maintained. We would be more than happy to supply samples of new bricks beforehand to ensure that you are happy with our choice.
Rendering
Rendered surfaces are becoming more popular as clients can choose to paint both walls and raised planters in a wide variety of colours to reflect both their personality and the 'flavour' of the garden. A contemporary feel can be achieved with rendered walls by the use of simple symmetrical walling, coupled with minimal planting.
K-Rend is also a popular choice of render as its silicone technology delivers water repellency to the render surface, providing a durable waterproof coating in a natural finish. Quotations can be provided for different finishes if required.
Natural stone walls
Should you wish to incorporate walls into your garden but are after a more natural look simple, low, retaining dry-stone walls could be the choice for you. Not only does the construction of the walls take a natural approach but enables plants to be inserted into pockets to create 'living' structures.
